Emma Back is a mother, violinist, vocalist and music ceremonialist. She creates cinematic devotional chamber-pop in service to motherhood, to women and to the sacred feminine.

With lush string arrangements, atmospheric soundscapes, and intimate vocals she invites listeners into spaces of reflection, embodiment, and expansion. Her work bridges contemplative, lyrically-emotive songwriting with immersive live experiences that invoke both the rituals of deep listening and somatic exploration.

In addition to her production and performance life, Emma is also a voice and song midwife. Through her organization She Sings Out Loud, she guides women to re-thread the sacred connection between their throat, heart, womb and pussy through the tools of singing, songwriting and music production. Over the past decade she has helped 1,000s of women alchemize their wounds of being seen and heard and begin to offer their voices and their songs in service to the earth, to humanity and to the divine.
